TWO contestants from a Kent town totted up thousands for charity after taking on two top TV quiz shows.

Twinkle-toed Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman, who runs the Goodman Dance Centre in Dartford, won The Weakest Link after beating a host of reality TV show contestants on Saturday.

He banked more than £8,000 for the Demelza House Children’s Hospice, based in Sittingbourne.

And Shenica Williamson, also from Dartford, who was named the Prince’s Trust Young Achiever of the Year for 2006, teamed up with trust ambassador and newsreader Nicholas Owen to appear on a charity special of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

The 19-year-old used all three lifelines but walked away with a cheque for £32,000, which will go to the Prince’s Trust.
