Charities, community groups and social enterprises across the Canterbury district can connect at a free forum next month.
Leading fundraising guru Simon Dolby – chief executive of the KM Charity Team – will be providing fellow charities with advice and guidance at the Canterbury Networking Forum.
Mr Dolby will be providing invaluable advice as to how charities can expand their good work, as well as tips on how to apply to become a KM Charity of the Year and get the editor of their local newspaper acting as their champion for 12 months.
“I know first-hand how difficult it can be to not only grow a charitable brand, but connect with fellow enterprises. The Canterbury Networking Forum is the perfect environment for charities and groups to come together and share knowledge. I am very pleased to attending the event and I hope everyone finds it beneficial,” he said.
The Canterbury Network Forum takes place on Monday, July 4 at 10:ooam – 12:30pm at: Social Enterprise Kent, 2B The Links, Herne Bay, Kent CT6 7GQ
Red Zebra Community Solutions will be hosting the event and providing more information on the support and guidance provided by their Development Team throughout the morning.
The KM Charity Team stages a dozen collaborative events each calendar year which raise £400,000 for good causes. The charity also provides vital road safety skills development and literacy enhancement schemes for school children across Kent, Medway and Bexley.
Attendance to the forum is free, and tea and coffee will be supplied, but places are limited. To secure your place, please email Sue Tucker at: sue.tucker@redzebra.org.uk
