Good causes have the chance to get a piece of the action at the KM Big Charity Quiz on Friday, April 20.
Charities are invited to submit quiz teams for the event, being staged by the KM Group’s charity department, for the chance to win a share of the funds raised on the night.
A prize draw will decide which cause will win the money which could be up to £1,000.
Last year’s event saw 49 teams of friends, co-workers, and charities compete for the Big Quiz Trophy and raised £8,000.
Helping to generate a bumper payout will be Kent brewer Shepherd Neame which is donating all refreshments for the charity bar, plus a raffle featuring classic collectables from Hornby.
A host of prizes will be up for grabs including DFDS Seaways vouchers and a pair of Eurostar tickets.
All funds raised on the night will be boosted pound for pound by Barclays bank ensuring a premium charity pot.
Other causes set to benefit include road safety and literacy services for schools, and the Kentish Gazette’s charity of the year the Dementia Appeal of the East Kent Hospitals Charity.
Event organiser Dominic Comins, from the KM Charity Team, said: “We are delighted to offer one lucky charity the chance to scoop a substantial sum just for attending our fun event.
“Try and muster as many teams as you can because every team booked by a charity equals a name in the hat!”
The quiz will be staged at the University of Kent’s sports centre with help from Office Angels. Booking price includes a bottle of wine, fizzy water, and a generous helping of snacks for each team.
