A CHARITY concert is being held to raise vital funds for the Ellenor Lions Hospice on Saturday, June 21.

The Medway Band, sponsored by the Kent Messenger, will be holding their annual Prom in the Park performance at St Mary the Virgin, Church Lane, Chalk.

The concert will begin at 7pm with the grounds opened at 6.30pm.

Stalls will include a barbecue, coffee and liqueur, seafood and more.

Tickets will be £8 (£7 concessions) and visitors are asked to bring their own chairs and picnics if they wish.

This performance is in aid of St Mary the Virgin Church Funds and the Ellenor Lions Hospices, which cares for adults and children in north Kent with life limiting diseases.
