The Messenger’s charity of the year is calling for people to enter the KM Big Quiz on its behalf.
But would-be participants need to act fast to confirm their participation, as the quiz takes place on Friday February 15.
Net Community Hub manager Jaye Nolan said: "We're delighted to be the Medway Messenger Charity of the Year.
“The promotional and fundraising opportunities will be invaluable to us in providing a safe and warm environment for people to meet and take part in activities to help their physical and mental wellbeing.
“We'd be particularly thrilled if our local community could get a team together to take part in the KM Big Quiz.”
Net Community Hub works to target social isolation among older people in Weedswood and Walderslade.
Ms Nolan added that if people did want to take part in the quiz on the hub’s behalf but were unable to put together a whole team they should contact the charity and it would organise one for them.
She said: “We’ll be delighted to put individuals together to form another team under the banner of the hub."

Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “The Net Community Hub is such a great charity, doing fantastic work and providing a real lifeline for older people in Medway.
“I’m so pleased that the KM Big Quiz will be generating much-needed funds to support its valuable work, and would urge people to take up its challenge and enter the quiz on its behalf.
“But you need to hurry with bookings the quiz is only two weeks away now.”
The quiz takes place at The St George Hotel on New Road Avenue, Chatham.
The funds raised will be split between Net Community Hub and KM Charity Team services supporting child literacy and road safety, plus one charity chosen via prize draw.
Shepherd Neame will provide the drinks for the charity bar for the night, with Barclays bank matching every penny spent at it.
Other key partners of the event include Office Angels, whose temps will act as runners, and Independent Music Productions, which will operate the PA system.
There will be a raffle featuring Hornby collectables, and any organisation entering a minimum of three teams will be presented with a prize for their best-performing group.
One quizzer selected at random will have the chance to win a £150 DFDS Seaways voucher in the timed ‘Win in 10’ mini-game.
And the winning team will secure a place in the Big Quiz county final.
