A HUSBAND and wife are planning on shaving their heads to raise money for charity.

David and Angela Luetchford are hoping to raise £5,000 from the stunt at the Pentagon Centre, Chatham, tomorrow.

Mr Luetchford will shave off his moustache for £1,000 and his beard, which he has had for more than 30 years, for £1,000.

If £3,000 is raised, the couple's friend Sarah Williams will shave off her long hair. For £4,000, Mrs Luetchford will also have hers shaved off and for another £1,000, her husband will take the plunge.

Two boys from the Walderslade schools joint sixth form, where Mrs Luetchford works, will do the shaving.
