A daughter will be embarking on a charity walk with her three friends to raise cash for a charity which helps care for her dad.
Jo Andrew from Gillingham will be taking part in the challenge at Bewl Water with her friends Mel Keane, also from Gillingham, and Jennifer Sanders from Rochester.
The 12.5 mile walk on Sunday has been organised by the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Jo’s dad Dave, from Gillingham, was diagnosed with MND around four years ago.
The charity funds research into the muscle wasting disease and provides support and advice to help sufferers and those who care for them.
The event at Bewl Water, near Tunbridge Wells, is just one of many walks taking place around the country and has been organised to coincide with MND Awareness Week.
Jennifer Sanders, manager at Dockside Property Services in Rochester, said: “We wanted to do something to help Jo’s dad and other sufferers.
"We hope that by doing this walk it will not only raise funds for the Association but raise awareness of what the charity does and raise awareness of the disease.”
