Youngsters still have the chance to win top prizes for writing a brilliant book review.
The fun contest, run by the KM Charity Team to celebrate the KM Year of Reading, is offering two rewards for the entry that stands out from all the rest.
The winner will receive a signed copy of The Whisperer by leading children’s author Nick Butterworth plus the chance to meet every child’s arts and crafts hero Phil Gallagher - better known as CBeebies’ Mister Maker.
Organisers have extended the deadline to noon on May 19, allowing even more book-loving youngsters the chance to write a creative review of their favourite read.
Book reviews can be handwritten and sent in the post but make sure each entry has the child’s full name, age, class name and school written on the reverse - and allow time for the entries to arrive by the deadline of May 19.
Send postal entries to Charlotte Hayes, KM Charity Team, Gazette House, 5-8 Estuary View Business Park, Boorman Way, Whitstable, Kent CT5 3SE.
Online submissions using a simple form at the KM Charity Team’s website are also welcome. Click here to find out more or submit a review!
