Dogs will be doing their bit to help combat stress this Sunday when they’ll get together with their owners for a fun show in Margate.

Margate Cricket Club in Hartsdown Road, is the venue for the event which starts at 10am to raise money for the charity Combat Stress, which cares for service personnel after seeing action.

Town Mayor Cllr Brian Sullivan has promised to judge the best in show and reserve best in show entries. He will also be raising the gavel for an auction to raise more cash for the cause.

Organisers are appealing for donations of items for the auction and for a raffle. If anybody is able to offer sponsorship to cover the cost of rosettes, trophies and certificates, please call 07837 261479.
