Voluntary groups, good causes and registered charities still have time to apply to become KM Charity of the Year 2016.
The winner will have their local KM newspaper’s editor acting as their champion for 2016 as well as kmfm radio and KentOnline which attracts 1,668,973 unique browsers each month.
Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team said: "We know from experience that any cause - large or small - has a chance to be chosen. It often comes down to the amount of time and effort put into the application form.”
The deadline to apply to be KM Charity of the Year is October 21. Causes wanting advice on submitting their application should attend the KM Charity Team Forum at Kent Scouts HQ, Lower Grange Farm, Maidstone on Wednesday, October 7.
Mr Dolby will stage a session on KM Charity of the Year and detail the fundraising support on offer to good causes by the charity department of the KM Group.
There will also be a range of workshop sessions for charities presented by professional organisations including Jelf Insurance and grant specialist Claire Haffenden.
