Enter for the latest heat of the KM Big Charity Quiz and you could raise money for one of the county’s most cherished good causes.
And not only will contestants make a positive difference to their community, they will also be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes.
Taking place on Friday November 9, the Maidstone heat of this year’s KM Charity Quiz will generate much-needed cash for Kent Messenger charity of the year Heart of Kent Hospice.
In addition, the top four teams taking part in the quiz will go through to the county final in January, and the winners will receive a DFDS Seaways extended-stay crossing voucher worth more than £100.
There will be a raffle featuring Hornby collectables, and a charity bar supplied by Shepherd Neame.
Any organisation entering a minimum of three teams will be presented with a prize for their best-performing group.
And there will be special prizes for the top teams from the NHS and care sector and from local government and schools.
Contestants will also receive substantial nibbles and a bottle of wine on the table.
The event for teams of up to eight people is on Friday, November 9, with doors opening at 6.20pm for a 7pm start. The fun is estimated to finish at 10.30pm.
The quiz is organised by the KM Charity Team and supported by Kent accountancy practice Wilkins Kennedy.
Also taking a share of the charity pot will be services supporting child literacy and road safety, plus one charity chosen via prize draw.
The entry price is £65 per team, but there is a £10 discount when you book using the discount code KMNEWS18.
