Firms invited to get involved in Children in Need show at historic Theatre Royal

Businesses are sought to sponsor a special charity show in Thanet to help needy youngsters.

Kent Charity Productions, a group of local volunteers, are pooling their talents for this year’s Children In Need appeal.

Acts participating in the show at the Theatre Royal, Margate, on Saturday, November 1, promise a cabaret-style production rich in music, song and dance.

Sponsors are needed to help fund the venue, a cost of £700 and to pay for printing, estimated at £800.

Advertisers can still buy space in the programme.

Performers will include Alison Crowther, Stephen Frazer, Phoenix Performing Arts and professional comedy act Noise Next Door made up of Kent University graduates.

A rousing launch will be provided with a rendition of favourite numbers from Oliver by young students from Thanet’s Star Stage School.

The Theatre Royal’s two boxes are being auctioned to raise some extra money and bids are invited from readers, starting at £15.

Potential sponsors can contact Dave Thompson on 01304 380275
