Good causes and voluntary groups can receive a free masterclass in preparing the perfect KM Charity of the Year application.
The organisation chosen to be KM Charity of the Year will receive the backing of their local KM newspaper, kmfm radio and KentOnline for 12 months, publicising its work to a massive new audience of potential supporters.
Charities can find out how to fine-tune their applications at the KM Charity Forum being staged on Friday, October 13. The forum is free to attend but places must be booked in advance.
KM Charity of the Year is open to applications until the deadline of Friday, October 27.
The winning cause will be supported by the KM Group’s charity department through collaborative fundraising events run throughout the year including the KM Assault Course Challenge staged this year on October 8 and KM Abseil on November 12.
Simon Dolby, chief executive of the KM Charity Team, said: “We know from experience that any cause, large or small, has a chance to be chosen. It often comes down to the amount of time and effort spent on the application. For top tips and advice that will give you the edge make sure you sign up for the forum. KM Charity of the Year is a fantastic opportunity for charities to put their organisation in the spotlight.”
