Bring some colour to your cheeks – and everywhere else – by taking part in the family friendly KM Colour Run on Sunday, June 7.
This brand new event staged by the KM Charity Team will be an explosion of colour as participants are showered with different shades of coloured powder during the 5km fun run.
You don’t need to be a runner – you don’t even need to run. The event isn't timed so participants are invited to run, jog or walk at their own pace and enjoy getting in a colourful mess. The wacky event is now open for entry and has an early bird booking discount available until May 1.
Dee Murphy, fundraising and events officer at Martha Trust, said: “We are very much looking forward to this exciting new event, it sounds like so much fun! We hope that lots of people will sign up and choose Martha Trust as their charity to support.”
The booking price for adults is £22 and £10 for children inclusive of limited edition KM Colour Run t-shirt, sunglasses and a small bag of coloured powder to throw during the event. All runners will receive a medal at the finish line.
Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “You can take part just for fun or to raise money for your favourite good cause. Everyone is guaranteed a fantastic day out getting splattered with colour."
The KM Colour Run will be staged around the seven acre site at BayPoint sports and leisure club, Sandwich.
