Support four Kent charities by signing up for the KM Big Charity Quiz being held on Friday, October 10 at the Stour Centre, Ashford.
Money raised on the night will go to Ashford Foodbank, Kent Multiple Sclerosis, road safety training for children and the KM Walk to School campaign. Each cause will receive a share of the funds raised on the night so the more teams that sign up the better.
The annual wine and wisdom style evening promises banter, brainteasers and big prizes to be won including £500 in cash.
Catherine McVicker, director of Specsavers Opticians in Ashford, said she was delighted that Specsavers is sponsoring the event for the fourth year in a row.
She said: “As a company we like to be able to help the community. Kent Multiple Sclerosis and Ashford Foodbank are fantastic charities and the walking bus helps to reduce the environmental impact of CO and also helps the health of our children, which as a health profession we are passionate about."
The cost to enter is just £65 per team of up to eight people. This includes a bottle of wine for the table plus each team member will receive a drink on arrival, ploughman’s supper and entry into a draw to win a P&O Ferry ticket.
Sponsors include Barlcays, Shepherd Neame, Specsavers, Hallett and Co, P&O and McDonald’s.
