No wonder these Santas look happy - they've won a sackload of prizes and raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

Twenty student and five staff from St Lawrence College, Ramsgate, took part in the Father Christmas run in aid of Pilgrims Hospices.

About 600 people - all dressed as Santa - ran in the six kilometre run in Folkestone organised by the town’s Rotary Club.

The St Lawrence team raised £500 with more donations coming in. The team had the four fastest finishers - students Roger Jin, Glenn Richards and Anna McIntosh and teacher Steve King - and won best team position.
