High times for the high wire challenge

The first-ever High Wire challenge took place at Chatham's Historic Dockyard on Saturday.

Medway Messenger reporter Jenni Horn joined brave fund-raisers for the event, held to continue the fund-raising in memory of Emily Loughrey.

She died in 2007 from cancer and since then, her family has pledged to raise money for the CLIC Sargent cancer charity.

Saturday's proceeds were also shared with the Kent and Medway Walking Bus.

Jenni was joined on the high wire by Emily's parents Caroline and Matthew.

The day raised around £1,600.
