An action-packed programme of activities and workshops is available to support staff and volunteers from schools, PTAs and the charitable sector next week.
The annual Forum staged by the KM Charity Team will host sessions to brief charities on how to apply to become KM Charity of the Year. Sessions will also bring in top professionals to advise on applying to Trusts and Foundations - and the latest guidance on accountancy, tax and insurance issues affecting charities.
Separate workshops are being staged for the education sector to brief schools involved in the walk to school campaign on how to use school councils to drive the green agenda, and the road safety skill tests now available to target schools. Literacy leaders have an opportunity to find out about KM's new home reading initiative after its successful pilot at 10 schools in the summer term, and PTA UK will brief parent volunteers on the support the organisation can provide.

Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team said: "We have some excellent speakers and workshop sessions planned for this year's event.
