Schools helping to make the county cleaner and greener have the chance to win a storytelling visit from Bucks Fizz singer and television presenter Cheryl Baker.
The primary school or special school class that is top or most improved for green travel will win a visit to their school from the TV celebrity. Not only will she visit the school, but she will also read a story book to the school selected by the winning class.
Cheryl Baker, who is an Honorary Patron of the KM Charity Team which runs the walk to school initiative in the county, said she was delighted to support and encourage children and families to walk to school.
Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team said: "I am so pleased Cheryl is able to support us by delivering a story time session to one of our schools. More than 200 schools who use our walk and literacy initiatives will be competing for the chance to win the visit from the Celebrity Masterchef star."
To be in with a chance of winning this special challenge, participating children must walk to school or read with a parent on Wednesday 1 February.
Currently 40,000 children and families use the walk to school initiatives of Super Wow and Green Footsteps with a further 26,000 children using the home reading initiative Buster's Book Club.
The walk to school campaign is supported by Kent County Council, Medway Council, Bexley Council, Canterbury City Council, Maiudstone Borough Council, Ashford Borough Council, Orbit, Silver Blades Ice Rink, Leeds Castle, Wildwood, Eurostar, 3Rs teacher recruitment, Bel UK, Volker Highways, Countrystyle Recycling and Golding Homes.
