There is no better reason for runners, families and charities to go red in the face this summer as Kent’s brightest event the KM Colour Run returns.
Booking is now open for the colourful fundraising event which last year attracted more than 600 participants and raised a huge £25,000 for good causes.
Charities are urged to register as charity partners for the event as soon as possible to enable participants to raise money for them.
Already signed up to benefit, Vicky Adley of East Kent Hospitals charity called for people to fundraise: “We have a dementia appeal and we want people to raise funds to improve dementia services in our hospitals.”
Suitable for all ages the event will not be timed and participants can complete the course at their own pace as they are covered in coloured powder. Donning white KM Colour Run t-shirts and sunglasses – included in the ticket price – the aim is to ‘start white, end bright’.
The event will take place on June 11 2017 and backed by Specsavers. All runners will receive a souvenir medal to collect at the finish line.
