It’s your very last chance to book tables for the Ashford heat of the KM Big Charity Quiz.
The quiz takes place at the Ashford International Hotel on Friday June 21, with the money raised being shared by Kentish Express charity of the year the Stroke Association, KM Charity Team services supporting child literacy and road safety, and one good cause chosen via a prize draw on the night.
Besides knowing that they will have helped generate invaluable revenue for some really important charities, those taking part will be guaranteed a great night out – with the chance of winning Hornby collectables in a fundraising raffle, Shepherd Neame beers on sale at a charity bar, and the top four teams going through to the Big Quiz county final next year.
Once again, Barclays Bank will match the proceeds of the charity raffle.
Teresa Jepson from Barclays’ Ashford branch said: “It is our pleasure to support the KM Big Quiz. It is an event we have now been involved in for many years.
“The raffle is a vital element of fundraising on the night to support the community.
“This will have an even greater impact, as the money will be matched through Barclays’ fantastic community investment programme, which also encourages employees to get involved in charities and causes.
“It’s about giving back skills, time, and energy to support local communities.”
Besides Barclays, Shepherd Neame and Hornby, the quiz is also supported by Specsavers, Ashford law firm Hallett and Co, Office Angels, Eurostar and IMP Studio & Live.
It costs £65 per eight-person team, but there is a £10 discount when you book online using the discount code KMNEWS19.
