Time is running out to enter your team into the ultimate charity quiz evening.
The KM Big Charity Quiz raises thousands of pounds for good causes in Medway every year. This year’s event will support the Medway Messenger charity of the year, Guide Dogs for the Blind and Gillingham Scouts, alongside KM Walk To School road safety services.
Teams of eight are required to take part in the challenge event, and online booking remains open until noon on March 9. The quiz is an excellent way for friends and work colleagues to get together, but also for organisations to boost their profile and have some fun.
Contestants are invited to pit their wits against each other and take on reigning champions Supernova who have proved victorious for two years in a row. The Medway winners were also crowned Kent champions 2016 beating rival quizzers from Canterbury, Medway and Maidstone at the county final last week.
The Medway heat for 2017 will be will be staged at St Georges Hotel in Chatham on Friday, March 10 and budding eggheads can now receive a discount by using code MED17 when booking. This reduces the cost per head to £7, which includes nibbles and snacks on the table and a bottle of wine per table.
In his role as the KM Big Charity Quiz questionmaster, Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team said: “Come and test your brain power and have some fun at one of our most popular annual events. There's not much time left to secure a place for your team so gather your friends and colleagues and sign up today for a night to remember!"
Key partners Shepherd Neame will provide a charity bar, whilst Barclays will double all cash raised for good causes. Further organisations backing the event include Specsavers, Hornby, Independent Music Productions and Eurostar.
