The KM Colour Run is an annual event which sees participants walking, jogging or running 5K for a charity of their choice while getting covered in multi-coloured corn starch.
The run is open to all ages and abilities with the event a favourite with families. Readers wanting to join in the fun without running can sign up as a Colour Bandit and help throw coloured powder paint at participants.
Simon Dolby, chief executive of the KM Charity Team said: “The KM Colour Run is such a fun event and a great way to raise funds for good causes and PTA groups."
The last event attracted 600 runners who raised £25k for 66 good causes. Participants needing suggestions of good causes to take part for should pick the 2016 KM Charity of the Year.
Every runner taking part receives a souvenir T-shirt and sunglasses as well as a commemorative medal. The 2017 event will take place on Sunday, June 11 at Betteshanger Park, Deal.
