A dramatic money can’t buy prize awaits quiz-goers at the KM Big Charity Quiz next Friday (November 9) – and there is still space for last-minute bookings.
The Hazlitt Theatre has donated four tickets for the VIP gala opening night of its Christmas pantomime Aladdin on Friday, November 30.
Guests at this exclusive invitation-only event will be served gin and tonic drinks and enjoy delicious food treats from Wagamama. Added to this will be the chance to meet and greet the cast – which includes former EastEnders star, actor, comedian and rapper Richard Blackwood.
The magical prize will go to the lucky Big Quiz-goer - selected at random on the night - who correctly answers an on-the-spot trivia question.
Booking is still open for quiz teams of up to eight people to join in the fun at Maidstone Leisure Centre from 7pm.
Money raised will go to the Kent Messenger newspaper’s charity of the year Heart of Kent Hospice as well as child road safety and literacy services. Any charity submitting a quiz team will go into a draw to win a slice of the charity pot – and their share could be up to £1,000.
Each member of the overall winning team will take home £150 worth of DFDS Seaways vouchers and secure a place in the grand final in January.
Hornby has donated prizes for the bumper raffle and Shepherd Neame will supply a fully-stocked charity bar, while Barclays bank will match all funds raised from refreshment and raffle ticket sales.
Other key partners of the event include Office Angels, who will act as runners for the event, and accountancy practice Wilkins Kennedy.
