Seeking a thrill or wanting to get the pulse racing? Then look no further than the Maidstone Abseil which is preparing for its bigger year ever.
Accommodating to a huge 150 participants, the challenge event takes place on Sunday, June 5 at Midhurst Court and key partners Day, Smith and Hunter Chartered Accountants are on the lookout for those brave enough to scale over the edge.
Mike Startup of DSH, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Maidstone Abseil. It’s such a fantastic team-building event which our staff love taking part in.”
He added: “Participants can come along and raise money for their favourite good causes by stepping up and facing the challenge.”
Daredevils who partake in the charitable event will face a 130 foot drop, and the biggest fundraiser will win a pair of Eurostar tickets redeemable against trips to locations including Paris, Brussels and Bruge.
Booking is now open and applying code MAID16 when securing your place online will provide a discounted rate.
Dominic Comins, events manager at the KM Charity Team which organises the event, said: “With places for up to 150 people, this is the biggest ever abseil event we have staged in Maidstone. Last year we smashed records for attendees and funds raised, and we are looking to top those figures in June. We are extremely grateful for DSH’s support of the event and look forward to seeing many brave faces on the day!”
