There is less than a month left to apply to be KM Charity of the Year.
Selected causes will have a local KM editor to champion their cause for 12 months. The enhanced public profile delivered through the pages of this newspaper will make it easier for the chosen cause to attract new funding and volunteers.
One of the causes applying will also receive a cheque for £2,000 donated by Specsavers, providing an added incentive to apply.
Submitting an application is easy and should be completed by a representative of the charity or good cause. Visit www.kmcharityteam.co.uk to find out more.
Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team said: “Every good cause should consider applying and you do not have to be a registered charity to get involved. Around the county we expect 10 causes be be picked by the editors with some small grassroots charities mixed in with a few larger organisations.”
To find out who has applied for your area already visit the charity team’s website.
The deadline to apply for KM Charity of the Year is 21 October.
