HUNDREDS of energetic volunteers got on their bikes to raise money for charity on Sunday.

More than 500 people took part in this year's Faversham Bike Ride, consisting of a 10 mile circular route starting and finishing at the Rec.

The event has been running for the past 15 years, and organisers hope this ride will have raised nearly £11,000 for charity.

Organiser Brian Tovey said: “The weather was lovely and there was a fantastic atmosphere."
