Pair to run 182 miles in seven days

CHARITY worker Jon Limebury is preparing to take on the ultimate challenge - to run the equivalent of seven marathons in seven days.

The 27-year-old, a service user co-ordinator for the Scrine Foundation in Canterbury, is running with old school friend Tim Grigg from Leicester.

The pair are raising money for the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, which aims to raise awareness of the nature and dangers of depression, in memory of Tim’s father Ian, who committed suicide last December.

Keen cyclist Jon, who lives on the London Road Estate in Canterbury, said he was also running for another old school friend who committed suicide 18 months ago, as well as for all the people suffering from depression he came across in his work with the homeless.

The 182 mile route, which they are calling the Long Journey Home, will take the two friends across the Pennines.
