A TOP MEDWAY leisure attraction is offering prizes for good causes through the KM Treasure Chest community scheme.
Dickens World, the Chatham Maritime based leisure attraction that gives visitors an interactive tour of Victorian England, has donated tickets for charities to auction or raffle to boost their fundraising efforts.
General manager Lenny Andreou said: “We are proud to support the Treasure Chest scheme, which helps so many charities and voluntary groups in the area. Fundraising is key to any good cause and we are delighted to be able to assist them in continuing their good work.”
Bookings coordinator Clare Pointer added: “We are excited to be working alongside the KM Charity Team and helping charities by donating tickets to our family attraction which is a fun day out for all ages.”
Any organisation, charity or PTA group can apply for a KM Treasure Chest prize by going to www.kmcharityteam.co.uk.
Simon Dolby of the KM Charity Team thanked Dickens World for its generosity. He said: “The success of this scheme would simply not be possible without the support of Kent’s leading attractions.
“I would urge good causes to visit our website and apply for a Treasure Chest prize.”
Charitable organisations can keep up to date on support from the KM’s charity department by signing up to the monthly Charity Link newsletter at www.kmcharityteam.co.uk.
