Four year old Trinity Beesley has won a prize for striking a pose with her two favourite cuddly friends Hoppy and Patch.
She has been named the winner in the Phil and Ted’s Excellent Adventures photo contest. She received a Build-A-Bear Workshop voucher as her prize.
Phil and Ted’s Excellent Adventures is a blog dedicated to the antics of Phil Gallagher, who is the star of CBeebies’ Mister Maker, with his best friend Ted the bear. You can read about their exploits at home and abroad at the website www.philandted.co.uk.
Ted chose Trinity, from Roselands Preschool, Tonbridge because Hoppy and Patch have been her best friends from birth. They keep her company everywhere and make her smile.
Her dad Richard said: “Trinity is absolutely delighted to have won. Build-A-Bear is one of her all-time favourite places to visit. She is currently undergoing methotrexate treatment for juvenile arthritis, so this will be a really welcome treat, away from all the injections and hospital appointments.”
Phil and Ted are calling for families to keep sending in photos of children with their favourite cuddly toys. But in 2016 there is a new twist! The youngsters must be pictured reading a book or story to their furry friends.
There is no closing date for the competition and prizes are awarded regularly throughout the year.
Visit www.philandted.co.uk and click on any of the blog posts to find out how to enter the contest.
Phil is appearing as Muddles in the Marlowe Theatre’s pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs until January 10, 2016. For details and tickets, visit www.marlowetheatre.com.
