A team from a company of rocking horse makers beat Olympic marksmen in a clay pigeon shoot.
But Stevenson Brothers, of Bethersden, had a secret weapon - world shooting champion George Digweed.
The team, representing the rocking horse makers in Ashford Road, took part in the 50th CLA (Country, Land and Business Association) Games Fair.
Its shooters hit all 80 clay pigeons released for them, beating rivals that included a team of past and present Olympic sportsmen.
Company partner Marc Stevenson said; “We beat the nearest opposition by 12 points.
“Undoubtedly we won because George was in our team.”
He also quipped: “Perhaps the Olympic selectors will be on the phone with offers of a place in Beijing.”
The Stevensons Rockers Team were taking part in the CLA event’s Celebrity Clay Shoot.
Mr Digweed, a guest shooter for Stevenson team, holds four world records and is 15 times world clay champion.
The Olympic group included marksmen destined for Beijing this summer and also Richard Faulds, Sydney 2000 gold medal winner.
The event’s chosen charity this year was the Children’s Trust and Stevenson Brothers made a special dapple grey rocking horse embroidered with the CLA 50th anniversary logo to help raise funds.
