Cyclists in Kent and Medway are being urged to saddle up for the KM Big Bike Ride 2015.
The event which is being staged on Sunday, April 26 offers leisure cyclists and sportive riders the chance to take on a challenge and raise money for any good cause of their choice.
Participants can select a 100km route for cyclists with stamina or a more relaxed 50km route.
A bicycle mechanic will be available on the day to help participants with bike related issues before the chequered flag is waved.
Event organiser Julia Williamson of the KM Charity Team said: “It’s a fantastic day out and a great opportunity to fundraise for your favourite charity."
She added: “We’re very excited that Vattenfall is once again supporting the Bike Ride which is such a popular highlight of the Kent calendar. Last year 320 people saddled up for the event.”
The circular route will start in Sandwich at the Baypoint Club which is holding a Green Travel Festival on the same day. Free to enter, the festival will provide food, music, stalls and cycle exhibitors as well as demonstrations by skateboarders and BMX riders.
