THE countdown has begun for this year’s KM Big Quiz in Ashford.

There are now just weeks to go before teams take part in the battle of the brains at Ashford’s new-look Stour Centre on Friday, November 9.

The Big Quiz will see hundreds of trivia buffs fight it out in aid of charities including the Pilgrims Hospice, the League of Friends at the William Harvey Hospital and the Kent and Medway Walking Bus Project.

Organisers are aiming to break the county record for participation, by recruiting at least 76 teams.

And for participating teams there will be a host of prizes up for grabs, kindly donated by local businesses.
