Designer label clothes will be going for a snip for a week from Saturday in aid of cancer charities.
The Rotary Club Isle of Thanet Sunrise branch will be opening Premier Togs in Margate’s shopping precinct Regal Walk, formerly The Centre.
For just one week, daily from 9.30am-4.30pm, volunteers will be selling an amazing selection of clothes as well as accessories.
There will be plenty for bargain hunters with names like Ghost, Wallis, Per Una, Jerry Hall and Karen Millen on offer.
The club has close links with Margate’s Royal School for Deaf Children. Seven 14 and 15-year-old students are involved in creating a beach scene to decorate the window.
The clothes donated are excellent quality, some from leading fashion houses.
Exceptional items will be put up for postal auction. They will be put on display and interested parties can leave their name, telephone number and a bid in an envelope.
Caroline Saunders, from the club, said: “There are some really fantastic clothes here, for all occasions and lots of women’s shoes, about 100 pairs.
“Some items have never been worn. It is a great chance to get something new for your wardrobe at a fraction of the cost.”
