Get a real spring in your step by taking part in the first KM abseil challenge of the year!
The abseil event is run by the KM’s charity department and will be held on Sunday, March 15 at Miller House in Maidstone town centre. Participants can join in the fun and raise sponsorship money for any good cause of their choice.
Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team said: “Staging collaborative fundraising events such as this abseil are an important part of our service to the community. I hope many local good causes, charities and PTAs will use the event to raise funds for themselves.”
The abseil, which is supported by chartered accountants Day Smith and Hunter, challenges brave fundraisers to beat a 135ft drop while friends, family and passing shoppers cheer them on.
Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “No prior abseiling experience is needed, our experts will guide you every step of the way. Why not rope in your work colleagues or family and have a day to remember?”
