Quiz-goers will have the chance to be selected for the ‘Win in 10’ game to answer an on-the-spot trivia question. But the correct answer must be given within 10 seconds to bag the prize of a pair of Eurostar tickets.

More prizes including classic toys and collectables from Hornby will be up for grabs in the event’s prize-packed raffle.

Winners will not only earn the coveted Big Quiz Trophy but also £150 worth of DFDS Seaways vouchers.

The KM Big Charity Quiz is being staged on Friday, March 9 at the St George Hotel in New Road Avenue, Chatham. The popular event, supported by Specsavers, is expected to be a record fundraiser for the Medway Messenger’s charity of the year Unit 1 Skatepark in Rochester.

Barclays bank will match all funds raised via the charity bar - stocked by Shepherd Neame - and raffle ticket sales on the night.
