Time is fast running out to book tables for the Medway heat of the KM Big Charity Quiz.
The popular event, which will raise money for KM Media Group charity partners the YMCA and Abigail’s Footsteps and the KM Charity Team’s schools green-travel and literacy programmes, takes place at the St George Hotel in Chatham on Friday, March 6.
And there are some fantastic prizes on offer for the teams taking part.
The winners will go home with a cash prize generated by £5 of the cost of booking each team table.
And each member of the winning team will receive a hamper containing two bottles of wine donated by Shepherd Neame and gourmet goodies including prosecco truffles courtesy of the Southern Co-op.
The two companies will also be providing the snacks and drinks for the fundraising Spitfire bar, with the money from sales being shared by the Abigail’s Footsteps, the YMCA and the KM Charity Team.
Southern Co-op’s Gary Maryan said: ‘Abigail's Footsteps and the YMCA are two fantastic charities so we’re delighted to be involved with the Medway Quiz this year.
‘We are part of the regional co-operative Southern Co-op so we understand how important supporting our local community is. The KM Charity Team does this through its great work with schools across Kent. It's a real pleasure to be able to contribute to an event that will help fund what these three organisations do.
‘Through Southern Co-op's 'Love Your Neighbourhood' programme, we do our best to help communities become greener, healthier, safer and more inclusive. By supporting the KM Charity Team, we know it is helping the young people and families in our local communities.’
Contestants will also have the chance to win a Hornby gift set and a special DFDS cross-Channel voucher for up to nine people in a fundraising raffle.
Teams can book tables for up to eight people, which cost £65.
The quiz is also supported by Specsavers, Office Angels and IMP Studio & Live.
