Schools have the chance to supercharge their decor with a giant wall mural featuring pupils’ heroic artwork.
All they need to do is enter a Superheroes Art Contest to vie for the top prize of a school wall professionally decorated with pupils’ drawings.
But they must hurry; the deadline for submissions is noon on Monday, July 1.
It’s easy to enter - pupils simply draw colourful pictures of established superheroes such as Spider-Man or Wonder Woman, or brand-new characters of their own invention.
The contest is run by the KM Charity Team in partnership with Buckland Media Group, who will design, produce and install the giant mural at the winning school.
The KM Charity Team is an educational charity that provides green travel and literacy services for schools. Because of this, superheroes with eco-friendly travel or literacy props such as a scooter or book would be welcomed.
Note that each school should submit all of their participating pupils’ drawings in one bundle - i.e. no single pupil entries – and there must be at least 10 drawings submitted per school. Make sure that each pupil’s name and class plus name of school is on the back of their drawing to help identify winners.
The wall mural will be created using the drawings submitted as part of the winning school’s entry. It will be produced over the summer holidays, ready for a grand unveiling in the autumn.
