A charity challenge is laying down the gauntlet to golfers to find the king of the swingers.
Booking is now open for the second annual KM Charity Golf Day and luncheon hosted by the KM Charity Team on Friday, May 5.
Teams of four will enjoy the award-winning Chart Hills course designed by Sir Nick Faldo plus breakfast, a two-course dinner, raffle and auction.
Organisers of the event are hoping to raise £5,000 to support the KM Charity Team’s work with schools improving child road safety and literacy skills.
Ben Warren of Maidstone based Baumit, a key partner of the event, said: “The charities that are being supported are very close to my heart and our company is also involved in environmentally friendly solutions for buildings, so it’s important that we try to make the link between our business and what we can do within the community.”
The day which includes a putting competition and individual prizes will scored via full Stableford handicap scoring.
Event organiser Dominic Comins said: “Join us at one of the finest courses in Kent for a great day of golf and a great day for charity. Organisations can also get involved in the event and help support our key work with schools by donating prizes.”
