There’s a host of treats in store for quiz-goers at the KM Big Charity Quiz next month.
For the second year running the Rochester based Twice As Nice catering company is donating its time and services for the popular wine and wisdom event. The business will supply ploughman’s suppers for all participants on Friday, March 27 at the St George’s Hotel in Chatham.
Director Mark Gingles said: "We are delighted to be catering for the KM Big Charity Quiz. It promises to be a great evening, hopefully raising lots of money for the Medway Messenger newspaper’s charity of the year Abigail’s Footsteps.”
Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: "This is a tasty treat for quiz-goers. We don't usually have the opportunity to use an outside catering company and so we welcome everything Mark and his team are doing for us.”
Team members will receive a free drink on arrival, free entry into a prize draw to win a PO Ferries voucher and a free ploughman’s supper. One participant will be chosen at random to answer an on the spot quiz question to win £100 in cash.
Special guest host Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker will be asking the questions for the entertainment round.
The KM Big Quiz is supported by Qube Recruitment, Shepherd Neame and Barclays. A table for up to eight costs £65 but there’s a £10 discount on the price with the booking code MEBQEB15.
Proceeds raised on the night will also benefit the children’s road safety service of the KM Charity Team. For more information or to book, visit www.kmbigquiz.co.uk and click on 'Event Booking'.
