Just two days left for parents, pupils and schools to nominate inspirational individuals with top teaching in their DNA.
The cut-off date to nominate teachers or other school staff for the Kent Teacher of the Year Awards is noon on Wednesday, March 8.
One ambassador of the annual event has made a final call for members of the public to vote in the Business Manager category.
Peter Manser of Kreston Reeves said: “Schools now have multi million pound budgets and with the extra pressure on funding today the business manager role is essential for the delivery of quality education.”
Other ambassadors for the awards include representatives from Kent University, Kent County Council, Christ Church University, CXK, Kent Sport, Three R’s Teacher Recruitment, Social Enterprise Kent, Project Salus, LoopCR, Trust Careers at Medway Youth Trust, Hornby, Battle of Britain Memorial Trust, Kent Libraries, the Mercure Great Danes Maidstone, and Beanstalk.
Around 50 winning individuals and schools will be honoured at a celebratory awards dinner staged in May.
Submit one nomination or more at www.kentteacheroftheyear.co.uk before noon March 8.
