They’re off! Steeds were put through their paces at Whitstable’s second pantomime horse derby along Tankerton Slopes.
Almost 30 home-made horses took part, each made up of two people plus a jockey, and the event raised about £1,000 for local charities.
Organiser Roger Baker said: “It was all about adults enjoying themselves and letting their hair down for a very good cause.”
Off-course entertainment was provided by the Kent Circus School, 2nd Whitstable Sea Scouts, Pet Lodge dog agility team and a singer. DJ Pat Marsh compered the event.
