Good causes in Kent and Medway have less than a week left to apply to be KM Charity of the Year 2016

Charities, good causes and voluntary groups can attempt a hat trick by applying for KM Charity of the Year 2016 while there’s still time.

The annual KM Dragon Boat Race is a popular way for charities to raise huge sums.
The annual KM Dragon Boat Race is a popular way for charities to raise huge sums.

Each application will not only be considered by their local KM newspaper editor but also by the editors of KentOnline and the KM Group’s online television channel KMTV.

The winner will receive 12 months of support in print, on kmfm radio and on KentOnline, which attracts 1.9m unique browsers each month.

In addition KentOnline and KMTV will choose a separate cause each to champion throughout 2016.

Simon Dolby of the KM Charity Team said: “Time is running out to apply for this wonderful opportunity to dramatically raise your profile, improve fundraising opportunities and attract a whole new audience of supporters.

“This year, the winning charity will also receive a promotional video trumpeting their work filmed by KMTV contributors. The video can be used on the cause’s website, e-newsletters and social media.”

Complete the online application form here before the October 21 deadline.
