More on KentOnline
Thrill seekers have just two weeks left in which to register for a unique abseil challenge.
The KM Charity Team’s Winter Abseil takes place on Saturday, October 5, giving participants a rare chance to descend from the roof of one of the tallest buildings in Kent’s county town.
The event presents the last chance to take part in a charity abseil in Kent this year, but there is no fundraising obligation.
It takes place at 100-foot-high Thomas Place in Maidstone, with abseilers able to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Madistone United’s Gallagher Stadium.
The abseil is supported by Housing & Care 21 and Maidstone Scaffolding, and the participants will be supervised by climbing and abseiling specialists Hatt Adventures.
Bookings cost £25, but people who use the discount code KMVIP when paying online will get a £5 discount. Participants must be at least 14 years old.
