Staged at Betteshanger Park, near Deal on Sunday, April 24 the fundraising challenge day is open for online booking now, but riders can take part by paying on the day.

Entrants have the option to raise money for their favourite good causes, or to support foundations involved with the ride such as Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance. Alternatively, the ride can be entered by those simply searching for an action-packed day out.

The Locks of Sandwich Cycles-supported 100K ride is the perfect choice for sportive cyclists or more advanced riders, and spans the Kent coast across Ramsgate, Margate and Reculver. Meanwhile the shorter 50K option offers more casual or lesuirely riders the opportunity to take in plush views of Sandwich, Preston and Bramling.

Both routes start and conclude at Betteshanger in which all riders will receive a limited edition medal upon completion. Sportive photographs are also available to all. Refuelling stations will be located throughout both rides for those requiring additional drink and sustenance.

Lisa Craig, events manager at the KM Charity Team which organises the ride, said: “The ride is just around the corner, but there is still time to book online and make use of the discount code. Alternatively, just roll up on the 24th and choose your route!”

Book now for the Vattenfall-supported event at www.kmbigbikeride.co.uk and use code KMPRBB16 for a £5 discount.

Riders of all ages are welcome to take part, but those aged 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
