Tiger Woods fans looking for an opportunity to mimic his achievement at the Masters while raising money for good causes are urged to book their places at the KM Charity Team Spring Golf Day.
The 18-hole competition for teams of four players takes place at the Weald of Kent Golf Course near Maidstone on Thursday, May 9, and will raise much-needed funds to improve children’s road-safety and literacy skills.
The cost is £350 per team, which includes hole sponsorship for teams’ businesses or favourite charities.
The event will use full stableford handicap scoring, and is supported by Aston Lark, Red Key Concepts, DP Leasing, Furley Page, Informed Financial Advice, HW Martin, the Red Eagle Foundation, Barclays Bank, Keaveney Contractors and Fullker Contractors.
The day will start with breakfast at the club house. Players will then have an opportunity to warm up on the putting green and at the driving range prior to the main event, which will start at approximately 9am.
After the golf, players will have the chance to enjoy an informal drink, followed by lunch, a charity raffle, and the presentation of prizes back at the club house.
