PEOPLE throughout Kent will have the opportunity to support Demelza House children's hospice near Sittingbourne by attending the premiere of a new film.

The new version of The Italian Job can be seen on Wednesday, September 17, at Cineworld in Ashford.

Fans of the original sixties film starring Michael Caine will well remember that equal star status went to several Mini Cooper cars.

So it is apt that Broad Oak BMW and Mini, a division of Barrett's Canterbury, are donating a Mini Cooper to raise even more funds for the hospice.

Film-goers at the premiere will have the first chance to win the car as well as limited edition T-shirts and film memorabiliia signed by the stars.

The car will be officially handed over to Countess Mountbatten of Burma at the hospice's charity ball committee meeting on October 16 at Eastwell Manor near Ashford.

The grand draw for the car itself takes place at midnight on February 27 next year at the Demelza Charity Ball, also to be held at Eastwell Manor.
