A conservation group needs your votes today to win a £50,000 lottery grant.

The Loose Amenities Association is a finalist in the People Millions lottery contest, run by the Big Lottery Fund in conjunction with Meridian TV.

Loose has the chance to win a grant to improve the public footpath network through the Loose Valley Conservation Area, to allow access in all weathers and to make the valley accessible to the disabled.

But the association has to secure more votes than a rival project in Minster.

The winner will be announced tomorrow evening.
