Quiz-goers will get a helping hand from Qube Recruitment at the Medway heat of the KM Big Charity Quiz on Friday, March 27.
Employees from the Rochester-based business have volunteered to be runners at the popular annual event, organised by the KM’s charity department. Proceeds raised will go to the charity Abigail’s Footsteps as well as road safety services for children.
The volunteers will collect completed quiz forms, help to run the raffle and charity bar, and perform other tasks as needed on the night.
Natalie Winter from Qube said: “We are pleased to be sponsoring the KM Big Quiz for another year and are proud to be supporting Abigail’s Footsteps.
“These events are great fun and do a fantastic job of assisting local charities which we are keen to be involved in as a local company.”
The business will also provide sweets for the tables and is entering a team to battle it out for the Big Quiz trophy.
Natalie added: “If you want to have a go at competing against Qube Recruitment book a table at this fantastic event and we’ll see you there!”
A table for eight people, inclusive of a drink on arrival, ploughman's meal and entry into a draw to win a PO Ferries voucher, costs £65.
One quiz-goer will be invited to answer an on the spot quiz question to win £100 in cash.
Cheryl Baker of pop group Bucks Fizz will be asking teams to make their minds up when she takes over question master duties for the entertainment round.
Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “We’re grateful to Qube for all their support which will help the event to run smoothly.”
He added: “There’s still time for quiz teams to enter and have the chance to win prizes including classic toys and collectables from Hornby and £100 in cash.”
The KM Big Quiz, which is being staged at the St George Hotel in Chatham, is also supported by Shepherd Neame, Twice as Nice Catering and Barclays bank.
