KENT-BASED Millwood Designer Homes has helped a primary school to improve its website facilities.
The company has donated £100 towards the site at Ticehurst Primary School. It is being set up by the staff, governors and the PTA, and will offer information on the school for prospective parents, as well as displaying a variety of the pupils’ work.
Sara Sands, a school/parent governor, said: “We are delighted with Millwood’s extremely generous donation. We do already have a website, but it is in great need of being updated, and until now we did not have the funds to carry this out.
“We are all very grateful to Millwood and are looking forward to beginning work.”
Tony Lynn, Millwood’s sales and marketing manager, presented a cheque to the school during an assembly. He said: “Ticehurst Primary School is in close proximity to Clark’s View, our sell-out development in Flimwell and it is Millwood’s ethos to help out the community in which we build.
“I look forward to being able to see the new site up and running and viewing the children’s work.”
